I have been absolutely deplorable about keeping up with this site. It is coming back to haunt me. I complained so much about how my parents had so many photos, so many memories of my brother growing up but none of me. And here I am, doing the same.
These are my excuses...and I fully recognize that they are excuses: Having two children means more of my mental and physical energy is being used up. The days of being able to sit at the laptop and upload photos and type in the latest event are sadly scarce. I no longer use my point-and-shoot camera and therefore, have no videos. My phone does not have enough memory record videos in high frequency, yet I am too lazy to charge my camera and tote it along with me everywhere I go.
Our church does this thing every year, "What's your word for the year?"
I had said my word was going to be: effort. Well, in order to put more effort into everything, I actually have to do something. So far this year, I have not worked out, I have barely been awake, I am lazy about my bible study, I am terrible at keeping up with people. Sigh...I need to do better, and that includes this blog.
Now, when my next post is like, Feb 27, do not judge....I am a work in progress.

Christmas 2015
We had a wonderful Christmas. We left on Tuesday, December 22 and went to Knoxville, where we had the opposite of a white Christmas. It was 70 degrees and pouring on Christmas day. Still, we had a wonderful time visiting with family and enjoying the season.
